Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1 Scholars Reunite for a Night of Music, Fun, and Nostalgia | SAN JUAN, PHILIPPINES
It was a night filled with music, laughter, and cherished memories as the scholars of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1, Class of 2006, reunited 20 years later for a special alumni homecoming concert held on September 19, 2026, at the Music Museum. The show was directed by Frank Lloyd Mamaril with Marlon Barnuevo as Musical Director.
The much-anticipated gathering celebrated the bond formed inside the academy and the lasting connection shared by the scholars. More than a concert, the homecoming served as a heartfelt reunion, not only among the PDA scholars but also with their supporters.
The PDA Alumni Homecoming was a great opportunity to look back on their journey, relive unforgettable moments, and celebrate the friendships and experiences that have remained meaningful through the years.
Adding to the excitement were powerful performances from PDA Season 1 alumni RJ, Jay-R, Irish, Oona, Joan, Michelle, Geoff, Jun, Emman, Chad, Gemma, Ronnie, Iya, and the Grand Winner and the Philippines’ Pop Rock Royalty, Yeng Constantino. There were solos, duets and group performances that showcased their enduring talents.
The show also featured their voice mentors inside the Pinoy Dream Academy, Annie Quintos, Sweet Plantado, and Moy Ortiz of The CompanY, alongside OJ Mariano.
Apart from the musical experience, the reunion concert brought together music, fun, and nostalgia, as the alumni revisited the memories that made their academy experience memorable. Performances and onstage interactions gave fans a chance to reconnect with the scholars they first came to know, while celebrating the individual journeys each alumnus has taken since their time in the academy.
Beyond the performances, the homecoming highlighted the lives of the scholars after PDA. Though they have pursued different paths in music, entertainment, and life, their reunion showed that the friendships and memories formed during Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1 continue to hold a special place in their hearts.
