PCCR to Launch the Country’s First Philippine Cybercriminology Summit 2026 | Securing the Nation in the Digital Age
As cyber threats continue to affect national security, public safety, the economy, and critical infrastructure, the Philippines needs a stronger and more coordinated response to cybercrime.
To address this need, the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR), through the PCCR Leadership Institute (PLI), will convene the 1st Philippine Cybercriminology Summit 2026 on October 7–8, 2026 at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), Pasay City.
The Summit will bring together government, law enforcement, academia, industry, and international partners to strengthen the country’s cyber defense ecosystem. It promotes Cybercriminology as an integrated approach that connects cybersecurity with criminology, law enforcement, digital forensics, investigation, evidence preservation, and prosecution.
The Summit also aims to strengthen inter-agency collaboration. By bringing together policymakers, investigators, cybersecurity practitioners, educators, and technology leaders, the event will encourage information sharing, coordinated responses, and collaborative solutions to emerging cyber threats.
The program begins with Day 0 on October 6, 2026, featuring an invitation-only Cybercriminology Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Key leaders from government, law enforcement, industry, and academia will identify priority cybercrime issues, capability gaps, and strategic recommendations to help shape the Summit discussions.
On October 7, the public conference will examine cybersecurity gaps, emerging threats, and policy priorities through keynote addresses, executive conversations, and panel discussions. On October 8, the focus will shift toward solutions, featuring technology showcases, best practices, innovation, collaborative initiatives, and industry exhibitions.
More than 1,000 delegates are expected, including representatives from government agencies, law enforcement, the judiciary, local government units, academic institutions, technology companies, financial institutions, international organizations and students.
