Yo Manila | GIDC Philippines Step-up this 2021 | 2021 will bring about a lot of new challenges for many Filipinos. Many things happened in 2020, and this year, Glorious Industrial and Development Corporation looks to step-up in the New Year with their new advocacy project that will help preserve natural resources that will benefit Filipino citizens in the future.

The Glorious Project

The Queen of Stevia, Ms. Maura David de Leon, is stepping up to help prevent global warming in the world through projects such as Tree Planting. She thought about the idea during a rainy journey with friends where she noticed something quite sad. “Just a few minutes of little raindrop but the streets are flooded immediately.” She mentioned the idea to her friends and found that they too agreed with the idea. Because of that, she pushed for the Tree Planting project by creating a dedicated Facebook page, the Tree Planting Challenge.

Being helpful to others and to the community by providing jobs, knowledge, and charity to different regions affected by the different calamities are all initiatives practiced by Ms. Maura. This is why her company, the Glorious Industrial and Development Corporation, also known as “The Stevia Company”, follows suit. For example, the Glorious Project is focused on planting Glorious Mango Trees in the country. The initial step of the Glorious Project is providing 200 Glorious Mango Trees to local officials of Barangay Tumbong in Bulacan and in different places like Samar, Bicol, and Cagayan de Oro.

Stevia: The Sugar Plant

One Youtuber, KaCoffee, featured the Stevia Farm of GIDC Philippines in a video. They gave a tour of the farm and had feedback about the best healthy coffee in the Philippines, the Glorious Blend Coffee, and Sweet and Fit Stevia.
