Yo Manila | Domino’s Pizza Philippines Delivery for Our Communities – Domino’s Global CEO Ritch Allison | The global COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a crisis the likes of which has not been seen in generations. The situation is something new for everyone, and the worldwide community needs to continue working together to help each other overcome the challenges we all face. Domino’s is committed to doing their part.
Domino’s Global CEO Ritch Allison addressed customers in two open letters reassuring them of their commitment to safety and service. “The safety of Domino’s team members and customers is always our first priority. We value the trust you place in Domino’s stores to deliver safe, freshly prepared food.”
On the topic of community, Allison said,“We care deeply about the neighborhoods we serve, and we are proud to be a brand that is known for delivery to communities in their time of need.
For decades we have delivered to first responders, hospitals, shelters and neighbors in need. It is our honor and privilege to do this for communities worldwide.”
Allison mentioned the “Feed the Need” program that was launched in April, where Domino’s is donating at least 10 million of slices of pizza to people in need, whether they be first responders, hospital workers, food banks, or others providing essential services.
Domino’s Pizza Philippines has also taken part in the worldwide effort by continuing to deliver to local communities. At the beginning of the first quarantine, Domino’s Philippines stayed open and lit up their signs as an expression of support to frontliners everywhere. Domino’s Philippines General Manager, Roy Quejada, said,“Through these trying times, by remaining open, we wanted to salute the frontliners for their dedication to serve and protect the community that Domino’s is part of.”
Apart from that, Domino’s Pizza Philippines has worked together with 2GO to serve pizzas to repatriated OFW’s, quarantined seafarers, and Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs). Caren Aguado, Domino’s Pizza Marketing Manager said, “With the relief effort that we organized, we hope that our pizzas have made them eel delighted and loved amidst a time of crisis where half the world has stoped and they re part of the other half still keeping us all afloat.”
Domino’s is committed to serving the local communities and giving back to the Filipino people. It is part of their mission to perform tasks and above and beyond the call of duty, including delivering safe and delicious pizza to members of the community, wherever they are.
“We’re glad that wherever Domino’s is present in the community, we have allowed families to enjoy our pizza and be part of that joy,” said Quejada. “Stay inside, stay safe, and we’ll deliver your pizza.”
